Yet another fabulous day of eating.
Started the day with a little potato pizza that I picked up at a bar for breakfast! Very good...
Then at lunch we went to this little shop called Il Punto Giusto (Via De Castagnoli 2/b, BO) that sells arancini (risotto balls), calzones, and these little croustini things. It's right by the ECCo offices, the food is absolutely delicious, its super cheap, and the guy that works there is really nice! I think I'll have to become a regular. Had this little calzone with prosciutto, eggplant and tomato (sorry, not the most attractive photo), as well as this croustini thing (forget the exact name but I'll get it next time) that was AMAZING! The bread - which looks like half a bagel but is not - was almost like a cookie but not sweet - it was delicious crusty bread with a buttery interior, with perfect cherry tomatoes and a little olive oil, salt and oregano. One of the best things I've had here!
As a quick snack, and little bread and mortadella.
Then, Alessandra and I made dinner for a bunch of us. We started off with some bruschetta with mozzarella, arugula and cherry tomatoes.
Then, for dinner, we made some DELICIOUS mushroom risotto. Really creamy and flavorful!
