For dinner, I went to the mercato where they are just overflowing with fresh ingredients for the spring. I made a pea, leek and fava bean soup with chicken sausage, served over toasted bread. It tasted of spring and was delicious.

Day 115
For, well, more or less my lunch today I had a "creativo," which is cold espresso coffee with cream, vanilla, whipped cream, and vanilla syrup from ItIt in the University district. It's a new, fairly American coffee bar with comfortable seating and fun drinks. While I'm not a fan of a lot of the things America exports to this country, I'm happy with a comfortable coffee bar.

For dinner, I went to the mercato where they are just overflowing with fresh ingredients for the spring. I made a pea, leek and fava bean soup with chicken sausage, served over toasted bread. It tasted of spring and was delicious.
